For generations, the GCC has maintained strict control over information concerning the vast perimeter and the territory beyond it. Official records are incomplete, maps contain unexplained gaps, and citizens are discouraged from discussing it altogether. Driven by fragments of recovered data, witness accounts, and clues uncovered during his investigations, NΞD begins searching for a way inside. What he eventually discovers changes everything. The reality beyond the perimeter challenges assumptions he has carried his entire life and forces him to confront questions far larger than the GCC itself. Those closest to him report that he returns different. For the first time, uncertainty replaces certainty, and even NΞD is no longer sure what comes next.
